Job description

Location: Kidderminster
Hours: Monday to Friday 1200hrs-2100hrs
Pay: £12.80 per hour
Contract: Temp - Perm

Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Forklift Driver for our client based in Kidderminster on a Temporary to Permanent basis. This role is available for an immediate start; the successful candidate will hold a valid Forklift Licence and have previous experience in a similar position.

The Duties of a Forklift Driver:

• Safely operate a forklift to load and unload trucks and containers
• Move goods efficiently around the warehouse
• Ensure correct storage and stock placement
• Carry out daily equipment checks and maintenance
• Work as part of a team to meet deadlines

The Requirements of a Forklift Driver:

• Valid forklift licence (Counterbalance / Reach Truck preferred)
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
• Ability to lift and move heavy items as required
• Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
• Understanding of health and safety procedures
