Job summary

GXO is seeking a Forklift Driver at the La Doria team in Ipswich - Sproughton. The role is permanent and full-time, with Monday to Friday shifts and every 4th Saturday, 06:00-14:30 or 14:00-22:30. You will operate a counterbalance forklift, load/unload vehicles, and help with goods put away, under a health and safety conscious environment.

Salary is £31,005 per year plus holiday pay, pension and training opportunities, with an inclusive team culture and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Experience driving a counterbalance forklift is essential.
• Counterbalance license highly preferable.
• Experience working in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Loading vehicles using a counterbalance forklift.
• Offloading containers and customer deliveries.
• Ensuring deliveries are received and put away correctly.
• Repacking and consolidating items to support the rework team.
• Maintain health and safety standards to minimise risks.

Here at GXO we're looking to recruit a Forklift Driver tojoin our La Doria team based in Ipswich - Sproughton.

It is a permanent, full-time position.

You'll be working Monday to Friday and every 4th Saturday, on a rotating shift, working in the mornings 06:00- 14:30 and on the middle shift 14:00- 22:30.

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Loading vehicles using a counterbalance
• Offloading containers, customer deliveries
• Ensuring that deliveries are received and put away correctly
• Repacking, consolidating items to support the rework team
• Be proactive and responsible for Health and Safety to help minimise risks, hazards, and incidents

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Experience driving a counterbalance is essential
• Counterbalance license highly preferrable
• Experience of working in a warehouse environment
• Good levels of communication, both written and verbal
• Ability to work cohesively and well with others
