Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking Experienced Forklift Operatives for a flexible role at a port in Felixstowe. Candidates will work night shifts assisting with AFA & DEFRA checks in a team environment. A valid Forklift licence and full Drivers Licence are preferred, with successful candidates undergoing a Port Medical & Drugs Test.

Qualifications

• Must be fully flexible to cover weekends and holidays.
• Valid in-date Forklift licence required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting within the Examination Area on the port.

Job description

We are looking for Experienced Forklift Operatives to work on a schedule to include days/nights/weekends. You are required to be flexible.

Assisting within the Examination Area on the port you will be working as a small team on the AFA & DEFRA checks on a 1800hrs to 0600hrs 12 hour night shift.

You must be fully flexible and able to cover some Weekends and Holiday/Absence if required.

Full Drivers Licence preferred.

Valid in Date Forklift licence required.

Successful candidates will need to pass a Port Medical & Drugs Test, and 2 Days Induction/Training prior to starting on shifts.
