RE Recruitment Group in Evesham is collaborating with a manufacturing client to recruit a Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative on a full-time, permanent basis. The role involves operating a forklift, goods in/out, picking and packing, and assisting with assembly and rework.

The successful candidate will have prior warehouse experience, a valid forklift licence (desirable), and a proactive, independent approach with good IT literacy to support warehouse processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to move, load and unload stock.

• Support movement, storage and consolidation of stock throughout the warehouse.
• Ensure stock is stored safely and the warehouse remains clean and organised.
• Perform general warehouse duties to ensure goods are received and dispatched correctly and on time.

Our client, a well-established business within the manufacturing industry, based in Evesham, has an exciting new opportunity for a Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis due to continued business growth.

The successful Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative should have:

• Previous warehouse or stores experience


• Previous experience operating a forklift, with a valid forklift licence desirable


• Good communication skills and a strong team-player mentality

• Good computer literacy and a good understanding of warehouse processes

In this role, the Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative will be responsible for:

• Operating a forklift safely and efficiently to move, load and unload stock


• Completing goods in and goods out activities, including picking and packing


• Carrying out assembly and rework of products


• Supporting the movement, storage and consolidation of stock throughout the warehouse


• Ensuring stock is stored safely and efficiently and that the warehouse remains clean and organised


• Completing general warehouse duties as required to ensure goods are received and dispatched correctly and on time

Our client is offering the successful Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative a salary of £27,300, alongside a range of benefits including holiday allowance, pension, onsite parking and the potential of an annual bonus plus full training to support you in the role.
