Overview

Manpower are currently looking for experienced FLT Drivers who hold both a Reach and a Counterbalance licence to work for our busy distribution client based in Leicester. (Both licenses are desirable but not essential)

Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.

Schedule

We are looking for candidates who can work on a 4 on 4 off basis. Various shifts available: 18:00 - 06:00, 06:00-18:00 and a Monday-Friday 14:00-22:00.

Opportunity

If you get on well we will be taken on into a permanent role at the end of the assignment.

Main duties

• Handling of palletised products
• Removal and retrieval of palletised goods
• Stacking and loading pallets on and off trailers
• Putting pallets into line feeder for production purposes

Pre-employment steps for permanent roles

Candidates who are successful at pre screen stage will need to complete the following before any permanent roles are offered:

• On Site Interview
• FLT Assessment
• 2 weeks training successfully
• Minimum 12 weeks assignment

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience in FLT work
• Must have a valid B1 Counterbalance and D1 Reach FLT Licence
• B3 Licence is preferred; however if you do not hold this then you must have a valid driving licence in order to be trained up to a B3 licence in house
• Flexible approach to work
• Strong communication skills
• Awareness of health and safety practices in the workplace
• Previous warehouse experience
• Valid Forklift Truck licence
