Job summary

Connect Appointments is recruiting a Forklift Driver for our East Kilbride site on a temporary basis, with the opportunity for permanent employment for the right candidate.

The role involves safe forklift operation in a busy warehouse/manufacturing environment, moving goods, unloading deliveries and keeping the area clear of spills, with a Monday–Friday 8am to 5pm schedule and a probationary pay review.

Salary: £13.33–£13.99 per hour, with progression potential after probation.

Qualifications

• A valid Counterbalance licence.
• Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Good spatial awareness and attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of warehouse health and safety requirements.
• Team player able to work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Manoeuvring forklifts safely in a busy industrial environment.
• Stacking, moving and relocating goods to designated storage and loading areas.
• Unloading deliveries and consolidating partial pallets.
• Keeping forklift operating areas clear of spills and obstructions.
• Carrying out regular equipment checks and reporting any faults.

Salary: GBP13.33 - GBP13.99 per hour

Connect Appointments is recruiting a Forklift Driver to join our East Kilbride-based manufacturing client on a temporary basis, with the opportunity for permanent employment for the right candidate.

Our client is an established manufacturer offering a supportive working environment that places its people first.

What's on offer?

• Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (early finish on Fridays)
• £13.33 per hour, increasing to £13.99 after probation (around 12 weeks)

As a Forklift Driver, your duties will include:

• Manoeuvring forklifts safely in a busy industrial environment
• Stacking, moving and relocating goods to designated storage and loading areas
• Unloading deliveries and consolidating partial pallets
• Keeping forklift operating areas clear of spills and obstructions
