Job description

My client based in Heanor is currently recruiting for a skilled and reliable Forklift Driver to join the team on a rotating day shift schedule.

This role involves weekly rotation, with two paid 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute unpaid break, paying £13.21 per hour with weekly pay.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The Forklift Driver is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be required to perform order filling and checking duties, involving heavy lifting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to move products and materials within the warehouse.
2. Load and unload products from trucks and store them in designated areas.
3. Perform routine checks and maintenance of the forklift equipment.
4. Ensure accurate inventory management by keeping track of product locations and quantities.
5. Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
6. Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
