You will be responsible for safely moving stock within the warehouse and maintaining a clean workspace. The position offers £12.50 per hour with immediate start possible. A valid counterbalance forklift ticket and relevant experience are required.

Job Title: Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative

Location: Broxburn

Salary: £12.50 per hour

Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm, Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm

Start Date: Immediate

About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a busy builders' merchant based in Broxburn, for a skilled Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe movement of stock within the warehouse and yard, supporting day-to-day operations, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace.

This is a temp to perm position whereby you will complete the first 12 weeks through Driver Hire, before transferring to our clients books permanently.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift to safely load, unload, and move stock.
• Assist with general warehouse duties when required.
• Ensure the warehouse and yard are kept tidy and organised.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.

Requirements

• Valid counterbalance forklift ticket.
• Proven experience operating a counterbalance forklift.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or builders' merchant environment is desirable.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
