Forklift Driver/Warehouse operative

Position: Forklift Driver/Warehouse operative
Location: Biggleswade

Hours: 1pm to 9pm Monday to Friday

What is your role?

As a Forklift driver/warehouse Operative, you will help contribute to the day to day running of our Outbound shift. Your role will involve driving our picking trucks and assisting with picking and packing when needed.

Ensuring all customer orders are met maximizing efficiency and quality.

You will be responsible for making sure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time, all vehicles are loaded safely and correctly.

Our ideal candidate is a strong communicator who works well individually within a wider team environment. You are punctual, reliable and keen to develop within their role, a basic understanding of English is required to comply with health and safety protocols.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Driving our picking trucks
• Perform general warehouse duties, including receiving, picking, and packing orders.
• Operate warehouse machinery and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Conduct inventory checks and ensure accurate stock levels.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to meet targets and deadlines.
• Follow company procedures, ensuring that best practices are observed, and safe systems of work are being followed at all times.

Who are you?

For this job we have a couple of requirements:

• 1 years’ experience of driving LLOP, Hylop, PPT vehicles
• Licenses are an advantage
• A Focused and motivated individual with a desire to progress and develop.
• Embraces change and finds new ways of doing things.
• A keen eye for detail and a sound understanding of right first time.
• Strong communication skills with a mature and professional approach
• A flexible attitude
