We have an exciting opportunity to work for a nationally recognised horticultural business, considered to be the leader in its field. Pay rates from £13 per hour depending on shifts. The role of Forklift Driver is based in Ingham, near Bury St Edmunds.

You will need a valid counterbalance forklift licence to apply for this role.

Shifts for Forklift Driver:

• 06:00 to 15:00
• 07:00 to 16:00

Pay:

• From £13ph
• Paid weekly

Main Duties of Forklift Driver:

• Ensure forklift check sheet is completed daily.
• Receive and process Glasshouse products from suppliers, including wrapping, safe transit, label adherence, and final inventory checks.
• Check for damaged or missing items.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment within the service area.
• Report discrepancies on goods in and dispatch.
• Communicate effectively with management and colleagues.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklift trucks, safely as per training.
• Follow dock safety procedures when loading and unloading containers.
• Perform daily checks on tipping machine, sensors, and report faults.
• Load and unload tipping machine to ensure continuous throughput.
• Ensure fruit colours are not accidentally mixed.
• Empty green tipper bins daily.
• Assist block managers with forklift duties as requested.
