Job summary

TXM Recruit is seeking a dual-skilled Forklift Driver and 3.5t Van Driver for a contract role near Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. Immediate start with a 3–6 month duration and regular hours.

You will operate forklift within yard and warehouse, drive 3.5 tonne vehicles for stock movements and deliveries, and record inventory on simple computer systems. Overtime is paid at premium rates under PAYE, with free on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence is required.
• Full UK driving licence with ability to drive 3.5t vehicles (B/LWB) preferred.
• Basic computer literacy for daily delivery admin tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to load/unload and organise deliveries in yard/warehouse.

Forklift Driver / 3.5t Van Driver

Salary: £14.50 - £21.75 per hour (PAYE)

Duration: 3 - 6 Months

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dual-skilled Forklift and 3.5t Driver to join a highly successful company based near Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. This is a stable 3 to 6-month contract offering an immediate start, consistent hours, and an excellent overtime structure paid at premium rates.

This role offers a great balance of warehouse operations, multi-drop/shuttle driving, and light computer-based logistics work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Forklift Operations: Safely loading, unloading, and organizing incoming/outgoing deliveries within the yard and warehouse environment.
• Driving Duties: Operating long-wheelbase (LWB) commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes for stock movement and deliveries.
• Logistics & Admin: Organising deliveries and using basic computer systems to update records and log inventory data.

Requirements:

• A valid UK Forklift Licence.
• A valid UK Driving Licence allowing you to drive 3.5-tonne vehicles (Category B / LWB experience).
• Basic computer literacy to handle daily delivery admin.
• A reliable, hardworking approach with a commitment to the full length of the contract.
