Job description

Job Title: Forklift Counterbalance Driver
Salary: £13.00 per hour (Paid weekly)
Location: Norwich (NR5 & NR7) — Own transport essential due to split-site work
Hours: Monday to Friday, rotating shifts:

• Week 1: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

• Week 2: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Position Overview:

Gap Personnel is proud to be working with a growing business in Costessey seeking an experienced Forklift Counterbalance Driver to join their warehouse team. This role starts on a temporary basis with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate.

Key Duties:

• Load and unload goods from vehicles safely

• Store pallets in designated warehouse locations

• Support accurate stock rotation and inventory management

• Assist with both inbound and outbound goods processes

• Check incoming stock against delivery documentation

Requirements:

• Valid Forklift Counterbalance Licence (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited)

• Previous experience in a similar warehouse or logistics role

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure

• Reliable transport to travel between NR5 and NR7 sites
