Job description

The Job People are seeking a Forklift Combi Driver to join a busy production factory located in Castle Bromwich - B35, within the Logistics, Distribution, and Supply Chain industry.

This is a long-term, temp-to-permanent position.

Candidates must have recent experience operating Counterbalance and Combi trucks, along with a valid license.

Details of the Forklift Combi Driver role based in Sutton Coldfield:

• Work hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00
• Early finish on Fridays; earlier start/finish for Friday PM shift
• 8-hour shifts
• Flexibility required
• Night shift: Sunday to Thursday, 22:00 - 06:00
• Pay rate: from £13.60 to £27.20 per hour
• Double pay on Bank Holidays
• Overtime available
• Opportunity for training and progression

Responsibilities of a Forklift Combi Driver:

• Operate Counterbalance FLT (minimum 6 months experience preferred)
• Operate Combi truck with valid license
• Assist logistics team with FLT operations
• Move pallets and bulky materials safely around the factory and yard
• Load/unload vehicles safely
• Check paperwork and use internal systems
• Use basic PC/scanner equipment
• Maintain excellent attendance, punctuality, and communication
• Follow all safety and operational procedures
• Maintain a safe working environment
