Job summary

Driverz Work is seeking a proactive Warehouse Assistant to join our logistics team in Hatton. You will support daily warehouse operations, ensure organized storage, and help meet delivery goals with a strong commitment to safety and quality.

The role includes loading/unloading, operating forklifts, handling shipping/receiving, and accurate stock management. This in-person, full-time position offers competitive pay and opportunities to develop skills in warehouse management.

Qualifications

Proven experience in warehouse operations and materials handling.
Valid forklift certification and safe operation in a busy environment.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems for inventory movements and orders.
Knowledge of shipping and receiving documentation, labeling and compliance.
Mechanical aptitude and basic maintenance knowledge of warehouse equipment.
Ability to perform heavy lifting with proper ergonomic practices.
Strong organizational skills and attention to stock accuracy.

Responsibilities

Assist with materials handling, loading, unloading and moving stock.
Operate forklifts safely to transport goods within the facility.
Support shipping/receiving by documenting shipments and verifying contents.
Prepare orders by picking, packing and labeling to meet quality standards.
Stock shelves and organize inventory for easy access and accuracy.
Conduct quality control checks and report damages or discrepancies.
Maintain cleanliness and safety by following proper procedures and equipment maintenance.
