Job summary

Luton Bennett is seeking a Forklift Engineer (Field Service Engineer/Mechanic/Vehicle) covering the Essex area. You’ll carry out PPM and breakdown on forklifts and materials handling machinery, based from home with typical travel within an hour of your location.

Roles suit technicians with experience on cars, plant, forklifts, HGV or agricultural equipment, offering a mobile field service with overtime options and a fully expensed van. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working on cars, plant, forklifts, HGV or similar equipment.
• Based from home and able to cover a limited travel radius.
• PPM and breakdown experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and breakdown on materials handling machinery on a field service engineering basis.
• Complete comprehensive training to get fully competent on all machinery and equipment.
• Spares placed in van overnight.

Forklfit Engineerrole available in a highly successful and international manufacturer of forklift trucks.

TheForklfit Engineerrole will be suitable for candidates who have worked on cars, plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment. If you are a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic looking for a change of industry and like the idea of being mobile role this role could really appeal.

Part of a team, you'll be based from home carrying out PPM and breakdown on a range of forklifts, typically an hour maximum from your home location. No stay away or extensive travel is required. Overtime is available if desired mostly in the week.
