Qualifications

  • Counterbalance forklift license is essential; training for other FLTs will be provided.
  • Experience in a Builders' Merchants environment is preferred.

Role

In this role, you will work as part of a team to pick and assemble loads for delivery and collection, following a picking list that requires attention to detail for accuracy. You will load our vehicles and unload supplier vehicles, ensuring goods match paperwork, all in a safe and efficient manner. The role involves safeguarding stock from damage and loss, managing stock rotation of products with limited shelf life, and adhering to company policies to maintain high customer service levels. You may also be asked to carry out other reasonable requests from management.

Shift Pattern

08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, and 08:00 to 12:00 on Saturdays (1 in 3 rota). You may be required to work alternative shift patterns to meet business needs.

Required Skills

  • Counterbalance forklift license (essential); training for other FLTs will be provided
