Forklift Truck Driver – 6-Month Contract
Location: Holgate, York
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 16:00
Contract Duration: 6 months
Position Type: Contingent
Project: Holgate Improvement Project Support

We’re on the lookout for a skilled and motivated Forklift Truck Driver to support a key phase of the Holgate Improvement Project. This is a hands-on role where you’ll play a critical part in streamlining stock flow and creating space for essential project components.

Your Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a forklift truck to remove excess stock from LL
• Review run rates out of VP to maximise usable space
• Support the storage and organisation of parts required for ongoing and upcoming project work
• Maintain accurate records of movements and materials using an iPad

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid forklift truck licence (counterbalance)
• Experience with rail components and an understanding of rail industry parts is essential
• Comfortable using digital tools (iPad) for logging and tracking
• Strong attention to detail, with a proactive and reliable work ethic
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a project-focused team
