Job description

ABM Facility Services UK is seeking to recruit Forklift Truck Drivers on a full-time or part-time permanent basis for a high-profile client in Dartford. The role involves working in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment providing janitorial and waste removal services.

Job Details

• Location: LCY3, Dartford, DA1 5UR
• Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off
• Hours: 38.5 hours, 07:00am - 19:00pm
• Rate of Pay: £13.69 per hour

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Working within the janitorial and waste removal team in a warehouse environment
• Handling waste generated on site and supporting the waste removal team
• Using sweepers and scrubber-dryers, maintaining the yard area
• Ensuring equipment is clean, well-maintained, and safe
• Responding to client requests and callouts
• Communicating effectively with team and line managers
• Wearing PPE and complying with health and safety policies
• Working independently and as part of a team, with good communication skills
• Undergoing full training on cleaning methods and equipment

Person Specification

• Satisfactory response from Disclosure Board and knowledge of health and safety requirements
• Knowledge of cleaning methods or willingness to learn
• High attention to detail, ability to work under pressure
• Reliable, flexible, and able to adapt quickly to a busy environment
• Good communication skills in English

Essential Qualifications

• Valid private counterbalance licence (in-house training not accepted)
