Job summary

EMBS Engineering is recruiting for a Press / Forging Operator to join a precision engineering company located in Leicester on a permanent basis. You will operate a hot forging press, machine precision components and ensure parts meet customer specifications.

You will self-inspect parts with manual measuring tools, read engineering drawings and manage multiple set ups per day, handling small to large batch sizes with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience in machining role required.
• Ability to set and operate machines.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience with small to large batch sizes.

EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a Press / Forging Operator to join a precision engineering company located in Leicester working on a permanent basis.

Your responsibilities include:

• Operating a hot forging press machine day to day to machine precision engineering components
• Self-inspecting own parts using manual measuring equipment to meet customer specifications
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Machining large batch sizes of small to medium-sized parts

Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:

• Strong experience within a machining role
• Able to set & operate machines
• Comfortable performing multiple set ups per day
• Knowledge of forging & press machines
• Confidence in performing self inspection of parts using manual measuring equipment
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Worked with small to large batch sizes
