Forge Operative - Manufacturing Division

A Redditch-based, industry-leading manufacturer is looking to add a skilled Forge Operative to their engineering division on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Team Leader and Process Leader, this role is an integral part of the forge function, responsible for ensuring all customer needs and internal quality processes are met.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist with aerospace components and pressing operations
2. Support in loading and unloading furnaces
3. Provide support for manufacturing operations at presses
4. Perform other ad-hoc duties as required
5. Follow forge processes and procedures
6. Read and interpret precision measuring equipment and understand written and diagrammatic instructions
7. Maintain good interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and achieve business objectives
8. Work within a quality-oriented environment
9. Be flexible to work different shift patterns as required
10. Knowledge of metal forming at elevated temperatures is advantageous
