This opportunity provides hands-on experience ranging from tree planting to habitat management, giving candidates the chance to gain valuable industry-recognised qualifications and essential skills within a supportive team environment.
Are you a young person looking to kickstart a career in forestry?
We’re offering two unique, paid 1-year trainee roles designed to give you hands-on experience across all aspects of lowland forestry. From tree planting to habitat management, and from practical outdoor work to planning and regulations, this is your chance to gain industry-recognised qualifications while working as part of our experienced Forest Team.
You’ll also complete short placements with a range of partner organisations, and have access to a training budget to help you build essential skills – everything from chainsaw use to woodland planning.
Closing date: 17th July
First interviews: 28th July
Second interviews: 1st August
Start date: 1st September
