Job summary

Gee Cross Holy Trinity CofE Primary School in Hyde is seeking a dedicated role to support teachers and deliver Forest School sessions, under safety guidelines. You’ll help pupils' academic and social development, both in and out of the classroom, and cover during PPA time when needed.

You will build positive relationships with students and families, work with other agencies, and contribute to high attainment and behaviour standards across the school community.

Qualifications

• Supports teaching staff to deliver academic excellence with professional enthusiasm.
• Assists pupils with their educational and social development, in and out of the classroom.
• Builds and maintains respectful relationships with students.

Responsibilities

• Lead Forest School activities with planning, delivery and risk assessments.
• Support pupils individually and in groups to participate in activities.
• Foster positive relationships and promote respectful behaviour.
• Collaborate with families and external agencies to support pupils.
• Maintain high expectations for pupil progress and attainment.
• Provide class cover during Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA) time and other leadership periods.
