Job description

Snapdragons Nursery is seeking a passionate Forest School Leader to lead our nature-based learning programme. You’ll guide Babies, Toddlers and Pre-schoolers through engaging, safe, and developmentally appropriate outdoor sessions, incorporating hands-on exploration and child-led learning in all weathers.

As part of your role you will plan, prepare, and deliver outdoor Forest School sessions, including activities like den building, nature walks, seasonal crafts, bushcraft, sensory play, and storytelling. Maintain high standards of safeguarding and safety—including site-specific risk assessments and safe tool use. Work with the nursery team—coaching and modeling best practices for outdoor learning. Plan Trips and outings for the children and nursery team.

What we're looking for:

• Someone with a driving licence and has their own car to drive between sites (mileage is paid)
• Early years childcare level 3
• Forest School Leader qualification (or willingness to train)
• Capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions.
