Qualifications
- Experience leading forest resilience initiatives or similar.
- Ability to translate scientific evidence into practical guidance.
- Proven collaboration with researchers, partners and internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership on forest resilience and upskill colleagues across Forestry England.
- Work with researchers and external partners to translate evidence into guidance and tools.
- Support implementation of the Forest Resilience Strategy and Action Plan in planning and operations.
- Contribute to developing the next Forest Resilience Strategy and Action Plan with latest evidence.
- Collaborate on projects within a multi-million-pound Defra-funded programme strengthening resilience nationwide.
