Job summary

KPMG Ireland is seeking an ambitious Associate Director/Manager to lead forensic accounting engagements across Ireland and the UK. You will manage client engagements, mentor team members, and support business development, collaborating with legal advisers, regulators and corporate clients.

The role sits in our Forensics practice in Belfast, operating within a hybrid model and offering broad exposure to high-profile disputes, investigations and regulatory matters.

Qualifications

• Experience in forensic accounting, investigations or related advisory fields.
• Strong financial analysis skills and ability to manage complex engagements.
• Experience leading forensic accounting engagements and working with regulators and legal advisers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage forensic accounting, dispute advisory, valuation and investigation engagements from inception through to completion.
• Conduct and oversee financial investigations involving fraud, misconduct, asset misappropriation, whistleblowing concerns and regulatory matters.
• Prepare and review expert witness reports, valuations and investigation deliverables.
• Perform detailed financial analysis and gather evidence to support disputes and resolutions.
• Support clients and legal advisers across commercial and shareholder disputes and other contentious matters.
• Manage key client relationships and engagement risks, ensuring sensitive matters are handled appropriately.
• Collaborate with data specialists on analytics, eDiscovery and technology-enabled investigations.
• Coach junior team members and contribute to proposals and business development.
