Forensic Vehicle Fire Investigator
Home-based - UK
Circa £50,000 per annum + Bonus, Car Allowance & Benefits

About the Role

• Travel to storage compounds or fire-damaged vehicle locations
• Conduct forensic vehicle examinations, capturing details and photographs
• Determine the origin and cause of vehicle fires using inspection results and other evidence
• Produce clear, independent technical reports for various audiences
• Work in compliance with civil procedure rules
• Liaise with legal teams and provide expert witness testimony in court as needed

Minimum Skills and Experience

• Experience in forensic investigations
• Level 5 (HND) qualification in engineering or equivalent experience; training available for high-level mechanical investigation skills
• Organized, motivated, autonomous, problem-solver with excellent communication skills
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel
• Preference for candidates in south midlands/south east areas
