This permanent full-time role involves ensuring patient care, conducting mental health assessments, and managing multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate should possess a Full GMC Registration and experience in psychiatry. Responsibilities

• Ensure handover to colleagues, including out of hours.
• Review the mental state of patients per hospital procedure.
• Ensure full physical health screening upon admission.
• Manage physical health concerns during inpatient stay.
• Seek collateral history from professionals and family.
• Complete discharge letters/reports in a timely manner.
• Prepare tribunal and hearing reports under supervision.

Skills

Experience working in psychiatry within multi-disciplinary teams

Good standing with the Royal College of Psychiatrists

Accredited in Forensic psychiatry with the GMC

Appraisal/RITA within the last year

Education

Full GMC Registration
