Job summary

NHS Grampian is recruiting a part-time Band 5 nurse to join the Forensic community rehabilitation service at Great Western Lodge in Aberdeen. The role covers day, night rotation and weekends with a generous relocation allowance of up to £8,000.

The successful candidate will provide patient-centred care, contribute to risk assessment and support patients as they progress toward independent living and community reintegration after lengthy hospital admissions.

Qualifications

• Registered mental health nurse with keen interest in Forensic Nursing.
• Experience in rehabilitation, risk assessment and managing patients with complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centred care to service users in the forensic rehabilitation setting.
• Contribute to risk assessment and management plans for patients with complex rehabilitation needs.
• Support development and participation in the New to Forensic mental Health education programme.
