Job summary

North London NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Band 3 Healthcare Assistant to support delivery of high-quality mental health care within a forensic inpatient setting. Under supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will assist with individualised care plans, health checks, and daily living activities, while maintaining safe, compassionate care in a 24/7 rota.

The role requires PMVA certification, full shift rotation including nights, weekends and bank holidays, and experience with electronic

Qualifications

• Essential English and Maths at level 2 or equivalent.
• NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic activities and support daily living skills.
• Identify early signs of distress and use de-escalation techniques.
• Work 24/7 rotational shifts (days/nights).
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges and maintain records.
• Record clinical observations accurately and report safety incidents.
