Job Description:
Overview: Our Investigations & Compliance team assists clients in establishing facts related to incidents, losses, or misconduct, and helps remediate and recover value. We handle issues including fraud, misconduct, regulatory compliance, risk frameworks, and more.
FITA (Forensic in the Audit): A growing area focusing on complex audit-related forensic issues. This role offers an opportunity to drive growth, develop expertise in fraud risks, controls, and shadow investigations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support audit teams in assessing fraud and fraud risks to enhance audit quality.
- Expand knowledge in identifying and analyzing fraud risks and controls.
- Develop and promote external propositions for non-audit clients regarding fraud risk management.
Audit Support:
- Review audit assessments of fraud risks and related procedures.
- Assist in responding to suspected frauds, including shadow investigations, liaising with management, lawyers, and investigators.
Additional Engagements: Involvement in wider forensic activities such as fraud investigations, risk management reviews, compliance assessments, and risk evaluations.
Management Expectations: Independently manage FITA engagements, lead teams, manage stakeholders, and contribute to business development, marketing, and knowledge sharing.
The Role Includes:
- Managing forensic investigations with a focus on fraud assessment and audit support.
- Building relationships within audit teams and developing the FITA proposition.
- Leading engagements and managing risks and finances.
- Engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management and external partners.
- Mentoring junior team members and contributing to proposals and bids.
The Person:
- Chartered Professional Accountant or equivalent, with relevant experience.
- Experience in statutory audits, financial statements, and forensic support.
- Broad forensic experience including investigations and compliance.
- Proven project management skills and ability to lead teams.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
