Job summary

The Metropolitan Police is seeking a Forensic Management Team (FMT) Support Officer to join the CTPS. The role is based at West Brompton and Belvedere, with 36 hours per week on a permanent, full-time contract.

You will prepare FMT kits, manage exhibits, support fleet maintenance, and act as a single point of contact for facilities management across two sites. Security vetting is required (NSV SC(e), DV in due course) and British nationality is needed.

Qualifications

• This post requires access to the most sensitive intelligence material on a daily basis.
• Applicants must hold or be prepared to undergo National Security Vetting (NSV) Security Check (enhanced) (SC(e)) level before taking up the post; with a willingness to undergo Developed Vetting (DV) once in post, if required.
• This post requires British nationality (some dual nationals may be ineligible) and an Enhanced Security Check (eSC)/Developed Vetting (DV) clearance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare FMT Kits in accordance with SOPs
• Manage Exhibit Movements and support the Exhibits manager
• Support the Fleet Manager with managing the FMT fleet including arranging servicing, maintenance, and cleaning.
• Act as SPOC for Facilities Management
• Complete weekly Health & Safety checks
• Be responsible for cleaning and maintaining a safe working environment at both FMT sites
• Attendance will be five days in the office due to the nature of the role
