Job summary

Mitie Care And Custody Limited seeks qualified nurses or paramedics to support detainees within Police Custody Suites across the designated region. The role develops your clinical and forensic skills with full training provided, in a setting that combines healthcare delivery with custody environment requirements.

You will work 24/7 coverage with a supportive team, ensuring high-quality care while complying with UK vetting and registration standards.

Qualifications

• RN, RGN or RMN with dual registration; 2 years post-qualification; Band 5 minimum
• Paramedic; 2 years post-qualification
• Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in a patient-facing role
• Driving Licence required
• Must have RTW in UK, lived in UK, British Passport or ILR for 3 years+ with no long gaps
• All candidates will be subject to Police Vetting
• Current UK professional registration is required

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in a patient-facing role within a relevant field: General Practice, A & E, Emergency Medicine, acute medicine, Walk in Centres, Substance Misuse Services, Prison Healthcare or Ambulance Service
• Driving Licence (required)
• Must have RTW in UK, Lived in UK BritishPassportor ILR for 3 years + no gaps out of country more than 3 months
• All candidates will be subject to Police Vetting
