Mountain Healthcare Limited is recruiting Forensic Custody Healthcare Professionals (RN and Paramedic) to deliver specialist care within police custody. You will work autonomously, assess fitness for detention, and support detainee welfare in collaboration with custody teams and NHS services.

No prior forensic experience is required as full accredited training is provided, with a clear path to develop specialist skills in evidential documentation and forensic sampling within the first year.

Qualifikationen

• Registered General Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Paramedic with current HCPC registration and three years post-qualification experience.
• Experience in acute or frontline settings.
• Ability to work autonomously and make critical decisions under pressure.
• Full UK driving licence with few penalty points.
• Willingness to complete externally accredited forensic training in the first year.

Aufgaben

• Conduct clinical assessments to determine fitness for detention and collect relevant data.
• Manage medical emergencies and provide care in fast-paced custody settings.
• Support detainees with mental health needs and complex vulnerabilities.
• Collect, preserve and document forensic samples per evidential standards.
• Produce accurate clinical and evidential records and documentation.
• Liaise with custody teams, police and NHS services to ensure safe onward care.
