Job summary

Mitie Group plc. seeks certified nurses or paramedics to provide healthcare within police custody suites, delivering round-the-clock care to detainees. The role requires 2 years post-qualification experience in patient-facing settings and a driving license.

You will operate within custody suites and across the region, with a rotating schedule. Salary is £41,000 per year, plus a £1,000 bonus after 12 months of service, with full-time or part-time shifts and a rolling rota planned up to two years

Qualifications

• RN, RGN or RMN with dual registration: 2 years post-qualification - Band 5 minimum.
• Paramedic: 2 years post qualification.
• Must have RTW in UK, British Passport or ILR for 3 years + no gaps out of country more than 3 months.
• All candidates will be subject to Police Vetting.
• NMC/HCPC Registration paid.

Responsibilities

• Deliver healthcare to detainees in custody suites.
• Provide 24/7 coverage in custody suites as per schedule with client.
• Work in base custody suite and across assigned region as required.
