Cardiff and Vale University Health Board in the South East CAMHS region is seeking a Senior Practitioner Psychologist to support the forensic CAMHS service across Kent, Medway, Surrey and Sussex. The post is 0.6FTE (22.5 hours) with a focus on liaison, consultation and specialist direct work.

You will provide supervision, contribute to training, and engage in research and audit, with flexible base and agile working to support multiagency colleagues.

Qualifications

  • Post-graduate doctoral training in applied psychology approved by HCPC.
  • Masters degree with British Psychological Society forensic psychology qualification.
  • HCPC registration; experience in clinical assessment and treatment across settings.
  • Substantial postqualification supervision and clinical supervision hours.
  • Knowledge of research methodology and multivariate analysis in clinical psychology.
  • Experience with diverse client groups across the life span and multi-disciplinary care.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver specialist psychological input, direct work and consultation.
  • Provide supervision and training to colleagues in the team.
  • Drive research, audits and access specialist training opportunities.
  • Collaborate with multiagency partners across the South East Region.
  • Support agile service delivery across Kent, Medway, Surrey and Sussex.
