We are recruiting a Forensic Examiner to join our team at our Midlands site. If you are passionate about a career in forensic testing and want to utilize your expertise, this is a great opportunity to join a well-established, market-leading company with over 30 years of experience in providing forensic services to police, public sector bodies, and other organizations.
The successful candidate will examine exhibits for blood, semen, saliva, cellular material, and recover contingency evidence. Responsibilities include following SOPs and strategies from Reporting Officers. Shift work, on-call duties, and bank holiday cover will be required after training.
The candidate will perform examinations of exhibits according to SOPs and turnaround times, maintaining KPIs and competencies.
Person Specification
We seek someone with good organizational skills, attention to detail, and preferably laboratory experience. The ideal candidate will be motivated, enthusiastic, and able to work well in a team, demonstrating integrity, customer focus, resilience, flexibility, and the ability to meet deadlines. Experience in a commercial forensic setting is advantageous.
