Overview

As our FAS Laboratory Technician, you will provide administrative and technical support to the FAS Laboratory, working within a team of multi skilled FAS Officers, who are responsible for processing and examining forensic exhibits. You\'ll be working in a dynamic and fast paced environment, supporting the quality and accreditation of the laboratory.

Part-time role: 25.9 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Utilising and implementing a range of specialist equipment and techniques to aid the development of forensic evidence.
• Coordinating and managing equipment maintenance and calibration visits
• Managing and controlling stock and consumables

Qualifications / Experience

• Knowledge and experience of health and safety within a laboratory environment
• Knowledge of ISO 17025 quality standards relating to Forensic Services
• Able to communicate effectively
