Job summary

Stonebridge Executive Search is seeking an ambitious forensic accountant to join their Forensic and Risk Advisory Team as Assistant Manager. You will serve clients across sectors, building commercial and financial awareness with support from senior colleagues, based from Manchester or Leeds.

You will handle forensic analysis of financial data, quantify losses in disputes, investigate fraud, trace assets, value shares and other assets, and draft expert reports for legal proceedings.

Qualifications

• Recognised accounting qualification such as ACA or ACCA.
• 1–4 years PQE in forensic accounting.
• Excellent Excel and Word skills.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Strong communication, ethics, and professional integrity.
• Good time management and ability to handle multiple projects.
• Collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

• Conduct forensic analysis of financial data.
• Quantify losses in commercial and family disputes.
• Investigate fraud and accounting irregularities.
• Asset tracing and bank statement analysis.
• Share and other asset valuations.
• Background research on economy, businesses and individuals.
• Draft expert reports or other written reports for legal proceedings or for solicitors/clients.
• Liaise with clients, solicitors and barristers.
• Perform business development activities and project administration.
• Assist with staff management and development of junior staff.
