Job summary

Adjusting Appointments Limited seeks a Forensic Accountant to join its rapidly expanding Claims Preparation Division within an international broker. You will support a small team and work with national Claims Consultants on a portfolio of commercial losses typically over £500,000, gaining exposure across SME and mid‑corporate clients.

Candidates must be ACA or ACCA qualified with experience in insurance claims (forensic accounting, loss adjusting or broking).

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification with insurance claims experience (forensic accounting / loss adjusting / broking).
• Ideally based in Leeds, Manchester or Birmingham to balance the team.

• Support a team of Claims Consultants and contribute to a mixed portfolio of commercial losses typically exceeding £500,000.
• Collaborate on forensic accounting claims and help develop technical expertise within the division.

Job description

Rapidly developing Claims Preparation Division of international broker seeks to strengthen its technical offering through the appointment of an additional Forensic Accountant.

• You will supplement the team of 3 and supporting a national team of Claims Consultants who will work closely with you to develop your expertise and knowledge.
• You will assist with a mixed portfolio of commercial losses generally in excess of £500,000 for a range of SME and mid-corporate clients varying in size and complexity and providing an interesting and rewarding challenge.

About you:

• Candidates must essentially be ACA or ACCA qualified with experience of working in insurance claims either within forensic accounting, loss adjusting or insurance broking.
• To balance the team you will ideally live in Leeds, Manchester or Birmingham.

Salary & Benefits:

Basic salary likely to be up to £75,000 plus discretionary bonus, car allowance, pension, private medical care and 25 days holiday.
