An opportunity in Highways Services for 2 Foreman
You will have day to day responsibility and accountability for the efficient and effective management of project resources on a day to day basis.

WHAT IS INVOLVED?

  • To organise and control those project resources assigned to the postholder.
  • To assist Line Management in the identification and planning of project resource requirements.
  • To ensure that project sub-contracted activities are properly supervised and recorded.
  • To have appropriate understanding and experience of contract procedures and to ensure compliance with project contractual requirements.

WHAT WILL I NEED?
  • NVQ Level 3 Supervisory or equivalent in a Highways related discipline
  • Experience in the supervision of highway / bridges maintenance and construction schemes
  • Experience in the application of health and safety legislation and procedures in highways / bridges related works
  • Experience in or aptitude for managing resources and organising worksPlease refer to the attached person specification for the full criteria.
If successful, you will be required to undertake and pass an in-house driving assessment as part of our pre-employment checks before any offer of appointment can be confirmed.
