Job summary

PSR Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Foreman to join a major civil engineering project in Horton Heath, Southampton. This is a long-term opportunity with up to 10 years of secured projects in the region and an immediate start for the right candidate.

You will manage drainage and deep drainage operations, oversee finishing works, lead site teams and subcontractors, coordinate labour, plant and materials, and ensure safety and quality on track with programme.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Foreman on civil engineering projects.
• Strong background in drainage and deep drainage works.
• Experience managing finishing works packages.
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
• CSCS Card holder.
• First Aid (desirable).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read drawings and manage works on site.

Responsibilities

• Managing drainage and deep drainage operations.
• Overseeing finishing works and ensuring high-quality project completion.
• Leading and motivating site teams and subcontractors.
• Coordinating labour, plant and materials.
• Conducting daily briefings and toolbox talks.
• Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to programme.
• Working closely with Site Managers and Engineers.
• Maintaining health and safety standards.
• Driving productivity and achieving milestones.
