Job Title – Foreman (#1 on site)

Project – Commercial

Job Location – Armagh / Tyrone / Down

Salary – £40K - £50K plus package

About the Company

Working on a commercial new build developments with a faced past and busy main contractor. They currently have 5+ projects on in the Armagh, Down and Tyrone areas and are tendering for more local work.

Multiple positions and locations available to keep up with increased workload.

The Role

• Coordination and supervision of the construction of new build development – commercial projects
• Be the number one on site for all activities and act as a point of contact for direct staff, subcontractors, clients and design team.
• Report into and support the Company Directors.
• Oversee commercial projects and manage manpower on site including, direct staff and subcontractors.
• Consult with local authorities and clients when required.
• Managing sub-contractors and personnel on site to ensure that productivity levels are high.
• Supervise works on site and ensure the quality of works and that they are done on time and in budget.
• Plan and coordinate the daily requirements of the site including labour, procurement of materials, and meeting deadlines.
• Ensure that company policies including H&S policies are adhered to on site.
• Perform company compliance and administration procedure and record performance and progress of site operations.

Requirements

• A Degree in Construction Management or similar Trades Background (preferably carpentry)
• A minimum of 5 years proven experience with a Main Contractor.
• Experience managing new build commercial projects.
• Ability to effectively manage site programme and associated schedules to required deadlines.
