Job summary

A leading company in construction is seeking a Foreman to oversee commercial projects in Belfast. The ideal candidate will manage site activities, supervise subcontractors, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. A degree in Construction Management and extensive experience with a Main Contractor are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years proven experience with a Main Contractor.
• Carpentry or Joinery background is desirable.
• Ability to effectively manage site programme.

Job Title – Foreman

Project – Commercial

Job Location – Belfast (south side)

Salary – up to £40K with Travel

About the Company

Working with a very reputable company who specialise in delivering commercial new builds and residential apartments across NI and ROI.

Projects range in value from £500K to £7M

Immediate starts available.

The Role

• Coordination and supervision of the construction of new build developments
• Be the number one on site for all activities and act as a point of contact for direct staff, subcontractors, clients and design team.
• Report into and support the Company Director and Contracts Managers.
• Oversee commercial projects and manage manpower on site including, direct staff and subcontractors.
• Managing sub-contractors and personnel on site to ensure that productivity levels are high.
• Supervise works on site and ensure the quality of works
• Plan and coordinate the daily requirements of the site including labour, procurement of materials, and meeting deadlines.
• Ensure that company policies including H&S policies are adhered to on site.
• Perform company compliance and administration procedure and record performance and progress of site operations.

Requirements

• A Degree in Construction Management or similar Trade Qualification.
• A minimum of 5 years proven experience with a Main Contractor.
• Carpentry or Joinery background is desirable.
• Ability to effectively manage site programme and associated schedules to required deadlines.
