About the Role CBW Staffing Solutions is proud to partner with a leading fire and security provider seeking an experienced Fire & Security Contracts Manager. Based in Erith, this is a fantastic opportunity to oversee and manage the successful delivery of multiple fire protection and security system projects across London and the South East.
You will be responsible for managing projects from initial design to commissioning, ensuring full FIA compliance, BAFE/NFCC certification standards, and delivering exceptional quality and safety across all contracts.
Key Responsibilities Project Management
- Oversee fire & security installation projects from start to finish
- Create and manage project plans, budgets, and resources
- Conduct regular site inspections and resolve issues proactively
- Report project progress to senior management
Technical Oversight
- Interpret and review design drawings, specifications, and schematics
- Ensure installations meet BS5839, BS5266, BS EN 50131, NSI, and NICEIC standards
- Guide engineering teams through complex installations
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with FIA, BAFE, NFC/NFCC, and Health & Safety standards
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement corrective measures
- Keep up to date with evolving industry regulations
Team Leadership
- Manage and support internal engineers and subcontractors
- Lead performance reviews and champion team development
- Promote a strong safety and quality-focused work culture
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the key contact for fire & security project matters
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure clear communication
- Support tendering and business development activities
Requirements Essential:
- 5+ years’ experience in Fire & Security Project/Contract Management
- In-depth knowledge of fire detection, emergency lighting, CCTV, access control, and intruder systems
- Familiarity with FIA, BAFE, NSI, SSAIB, and NFC certifications
- Strong understanding of relevant British Standards and industry regulations
- Full UK Driving Licence and valid ECS/CSCS card
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, MS Project (AutoCAD is a bonus)
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
Desirable:
- Project Management certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, APM)
- NEBOSH or IOSH Health & Safety qualification
- Experience in integrated fire & security systems and smart technologies
