Forces Employment Charity are looking for a highly motivated Employment Advisor (Transition) to join its Career Transition Partnership (CTP) Future Horizons team in Plymouth.

Job role:

This role is part-time, 14 hours per week, with an annual salary of £29,000 (£11,600 pro-rata), based in RRC Plymouth, reporting to the CTP Future Horizons Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interview ESLs referred to CTP Future Horizons, providing information about the programme benefits and assessing immediate risks.
  • Conduct initial needs assessments (face-to-face or remote) following the CTP Future Horizons Business Management System (BMS).
  • Identify, engage, broker, and liaise with relevant support agencies within the CTP Future Horizons stakeholders when risks are identified.
  • Register all CTP Future Horizons referrals accurately and complete documentation in the Client Relationship Management (CRM) database within the designated timeframe.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key military staff at relevant Training Establishments.
  • Establish a personal communications plan and preferred contact methods with referred individuals (phone, text, email, social media, etc.).
  • Ensure all registration forms are fully completed and securely stored in accordance with DPA procedures and BMS in the Future Horizons Hub Office locations.

Person Specification:

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality employment support, guiding, and advising individuals across all age groups. They should be customer-focused and capable of meeting targets and deadlines independently.

Applicants will be required to undertake Enhanced Disclosure Barring Service checks and obtain a Ministry of Defence security clearance, which necessitates residency in the UK for the past 5 years.
