Liverpool Football Club seeks a Football Development Programmes Coordinator to join their LFC Foundation team. This full-time role involves coordinating football programmes across Liverpool, ensuring high coaching standards and inclusivity for all participants. We have an exciting new opportunity for an individual to join our LFC Foundation team as a Football Development Programmes Coordinator.
In this role, you will coordinate the development of football delivery at the LFC Foundation, working closely with the Liverpool Football Club Academies, Liverpool County FA, Liverpool City Council, and local leagues.
To succeed in this role, you should have experience delivering football programmes to foundation and primary age children, with knowledge of community/grassroots football. You must hold a Level 2 or higher qualification in football or a related subject. Experience and/or qualification in talent identification, along with an understanding of football structures and development pathways at local, regional, and national levels, are essential. Experience working in the Women and Girls game is desirable.
You should have experience in writing reports, excellent IT skills, and project management abilities, including planning and achieving objectives within strict deadlines. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required is necessary.
This is a full-time fixed-term contract for 1 year, working 35 hours per week on a 5 from 7 days basis, including evenings and weekends when needed. The main base will be our Anfield Sports and Community Centre, but work across other locations in Merseyside may be required.
