Job summary

Southampton Football Club in Southampton is seeking a Football Development Officer to oversee the planning, delivery and monitoring of high quality coaching programmes within the UK & International Football Programmes Department.

You will coordinate and manage the department's school football programme, ensuring coaching provisions generate income to support operations and delivering the best possible experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in line management of staff and coaches.
• Proven track record of implementing football and multisport programmes to generate income.
• Understanding of quality assurance procedures in football, PE & School Sport.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the department's school football programme, ensuring income generation to support operations.
• Oversee planning, delivery and monitoring of high quality coaching programmes within UK & International Football Programmes Department.
• Provide training and guidance to staff, monitor coaches and schedule delivery.
• Recruit and supervise staff to ensure tasks are allocated and standards are met; support growth and quality targets.
