Overview

Football Development Coordinator at Foundation 92, based in Salford, United Kingdom. This role is open to job seekers with the latest education / graduate GCSE or equivalent. Job type: Full-time, Permanent.

Responsibilities

Foundation 92 is the official charity of Salford City FC and The Class of 92. Working across the Greater Manchester community, Foundation 92 delivers a wide range of high quality, high impact, sustainable health improvement, education, physical education and inclusion provision to enable healthy, positive and progressive lifestyles.

The post holder will lead and directly deliver Foundation 92s football programmes, and coordinate the following themes:

  • Girls Emerging Talent Centre
  • Football development centres
  • Football mentoring
  • Inclusion Football

The candidate must possess their UEFA B licence, supported by at least one National Governing Body Level 2 coaching qualification, plus other relevant qualifications and experience in the design, development and implementation of football-based programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and deliver Foundation 92s football development programme, football camps and wider programmes across Salford and Greater Manchester.
  • Coordinate the Girls Emerging Talent Centre to identify talent across all football areas within Salford.
  • Coordinate and lead to ensure high quality coaching across all football programmes.
  • Collaborate with Salford City Football Club Director of Football and partners to align football DNA and playing styles.
  • Work with programme stakeholders to ensure deadlines and reports are met.
  • Plan and deliver high quality football sessions across all programmes.
  • Support delivery and coordination of Foundation 92 Wildcats and related programmes.
  • Ensure pathways and opportunities are inclusive and accessible.
  • Collect monitoring and evaluation data effectively; record data on Foundation 92's Salesforce platform.
  • Provide timely reports and analysis of performance.
  • Safeguard participants and staff; adhere to Foundation safeguarding policy.
  • Support other Foundation programmes and activities as required.

  • Educated in relevant disciplines and/or possess relevant qualifications or demonstrable equivalent experience.
  • Experience in coordinating and supporting a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in supporting employees with policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of IT and Salesforce or similar software.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
