White Swan Data seeks a Software Engineer to join a small, dynamic team building football data acquisition and analysis systems in London. You will develop real-time data pipelines from social media and other sources, delivering structured data for internal models and trading tools.

You'll work with Java (Spring), Python, and R, deploy on Google Cloud Platform with Docker, and implement RESTful APIs for real-time applications.

Qualifikationen

• Experience designing data acquisition pipelines from unstructured online sources.
• Strong backend development skills and API integration experience.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and containerization.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, and maintain data acquisition systems pulling data from social media and other sources.
• Implement and maintain relational DB schemas and API integrations for modeling/trading systems.
• Refactor and optimize systems for scale and low latency.
