Job summary

DN Colleges Group is seeking a dedicated Football Coach to deliver high-quality coaching across College provision. You will plan sessions, lead teams in fixtures and AoC competitions, and promote inclusive participation to support student development and enjoyment of sport.

The role emphasizes engaging students of all abilities, providing constructive feedback, and collaborating with staff to grow football participation across the College network.

Qualifications

  • GCSE English and Maths (Level 2) required.
  • Experience coaching football, ideally with 16-18 year olds.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to motivate learners.
  • Enthusiastic, organised and a team player.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging football coaching sessions for students of varying abilities.
  • Support player development with constructive feedback on performance, fitness and technical skills.
  • Lead college teams during fixtures, leagues and AoC competitions.
  • Develop tactics and analyse performance to improve outcomes.
  • Collaborate with staff to increase participation in football enrichment activities.
  • Ensure safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.

Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Football Coach to support the delivery and development of football provision across the College. This is an exciting opportunity to engage and inspire students of all abilities, increasing participation while supporting performance development in a dynamic further education environment. You will plan and deliver high-quality coaching sessions, lead teams in fixtures and competitions, and play a key role in enhancing the student experience through sport. This role is ideal for a passionate coach who thrives on developing talent and promoting inclusive participation. This is variable hours contract based at North Lindsey College Working Pattern: Wednesday 1pm - 4pm Hourly Pay: £15.14 - £16.50,

  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality football coaching sessions for students of varying abilities

  • Develop tactics and analyse individual and team performance to improve outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with staff to increase participation in football enrichment activities

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire learners
